Dermal fillers FAQ

Will it look natural or obviously "done"?

This is the top concern we hear from first-time patients of any gender. A conservative approach that builds volume gradually over more than one visit, rather than maximizing product in a single session, is generally what keeps results looking natural.

What's the difference between Botox and fillers?

Fillers add volume to soften lines and restore structure; Botox relaxes the muscles that cause expression lines. Many patients use both, depending on their goals — we'll help you figure out which (or both) makes sense for you.

Does it hurt?

Most patients feel a brief pinch or pressure during injection. Most fillers contain lidocaine, a numbing product. Also, topical numbing cream can help minimize discomfort for more sensitive areas.

How long do results last?

Duration varies by product and treatment area, generally lasting from several months up to a year or more. Your provider will walk through what to expect for your specific plan.
